Cheeky Strut + Siren & Proper
Lindsey Rae is the wedding coordinator for Cheeky Strut + Siren & Proper, we work together on all weddings as we have the same owners. Lindsey’s position is to take take care of brides — Your entire wedding hair and makeup communication will be with me from the initial quotes, getting your deposit, signing your contract, scheduling your visions with your hair & makeup stylists, scheduling your wedding day for you and your party, creating the invoice and any questions you may have in between! She is there to make sure your beauty vision for the day is perfect and stress free. Our staff gets continued education on all of the new trends which is provided by the salon. We typically have 70 brides a year and weddings are one of our favorite things!
What is your favorite Wedding trend at the moment?
Hollywood glam curls with one side pinned back or very big undone updos!

I have felt extremely called to work within the beauty industry without promoting the false beauty standards that society places on women. I love to use makeup to bring out inner beauty and confidence that all women have. I believe that being a women IS the standard of beauty and want all women to get to feel their most beautiful on their wedding day. I want makeup to be a tool that is used to highlight everyone differently because we are all unique! I never want makeup to be a mask that “creates the beauty” but only a resource used to enhance what is already there! I am personally connected to Venue3two as I got married there! I had the BEST experience with the venue and staff and love getting to share the love for V32 with my brides!
Coffee or Cocktails? and what is your go to order?
Not a coffee or alcohol drinker surprisingly! But my go to order from Starbucks is a pink drink or any type of refresher, or redbull mocktail from Biggby :).
Favorite Wedding trend at the moment?
Minimal, “clean girl” makeup. I love a full glam look, but I loveeee seeing women want to be “just refreshed” keeping themselves more natural for their wedding too. I think there’s something so special about embracing your natural features. As someone who use to feel like I had to wear a lot of makeup to be beautiful (don’t worry, I’ve recovered from this mindset), I love to see girls loving their natural beauty! Full glam will always be so fun and beautiful, but I do a little happy dance inside for the girl who love to see themselves more than the makeup too!

Cocktails for sure! I like a dirty, filthy martini. Espresso martinis are close second!

We are absolutely loving the natural make up trends that are currently happening. Majority of our clients are requesting soft glowy make up with a gentle lash. We're here for it!
