Full-Time or Part-Time (Hourly Position)
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIAL SKILLS:
An energetic, professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys hospitality, being part of a team, and taking pride in their career. Someone who has a knack for customer service and is willing to go above and beyond is key in hosting guests at Venue3Two, ensuring a quality experience before, during, and after events.
Communication Skills: Being able to talk, as well as listen, to guests, vendors, and co-workers professionally and cordially. Guest service and interpersonal skills are imperative.
Composition Skills: Being able to remain calm and composed under the high pressure of the event business, always poised, polished, and professional.
Computer Skills: Being proficient in computer skills, including Google Software will be necessary, as well as the ability to quickly learn other various event software including TripleSeat and Prism for Venue3Two communication, scheduling, and organization.
Clarification Skills: Being able to problem solve and provide clarity to a situation or event, as well as with staff relations.
Cleanliness Skills: Being able to assess the overall presentation of the Venue, ensuring that Vendors and Guests leave the Venue in a proper state before, during, and after an event.
Crew Skills: Being able to set up/tear down tables and chairs, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
SPECIFIC ROLES:
Maintaining Guest Relations Pre- and Post-Events:
Welcome and assist guests as they prepare for their events. Receive emails/phone calls from guests, as needed. Provide tours and walk-throughs prior to their event. Provide floor plans, banquet event orders, and event forms, as needed. Host a final walk-through prior to their event, ensuring the Venue3Two policies in the contract, as well as the banquet event order, are explained and understood and the client’s event is set for success. organize
Venue Coordination:
Arrive early to ensure set up and cleanliness. Receive vendors and welcome guests. Manage the event's needs as they arise (i.e. bathroom check, incidentals, etc.). Manage the Event Staff during the event. Ensure Venue3Two policies are adhered to by all guests and vendors. Assist at the end of the event with the guest and vendor departure, check out with vendors and supporting staff, ensure building readiness for the next event, locking up as it is finished.
Day-of Coordination:
Host meetings with clients to assist with event details 3 months out from the wedding day. Aid in helping the client take the details that they have gathered and execute this in our space. Create and manage client timelines to ensure the event runs smoothly. Coordinate with vendors throughout the duration of the event to make sure the event runs to clients’ specifications. Manage a team of assistants to set up and tear down decor and various event details according to guests' vision. Manage ceremony details for rehearsal and on the wedding day. Problem solve and care for various event details so the client can enjoy their event. Be of service to the client to create an overall stress-free and smooth experience before and during their wedding day.
Special Events/Projects:
Providing team support for special events/projects and in-house events and or trainings as needed.
