We've had the pleasure of having many vendors through our doors. We're lucky enough to call them friends, and look forward to working with them every time. We hope you love them as much as we do!

Our goal is to tell a compelling wedding story that future generations can flip through a photo album and see/feel those who came before them. Including all the big supporting characters in our couples lives: their loved ones, their family and friends. While we have a big love for the storytelling but we won't make you compromise on posed vs unposed either. We're there to guide you when you don't know where to put your hands, and during the quiet intimate moments, we remain like a fly on a wall, snapping away. The end result, timeless photos that outlast us for the generations after us to see and feel.

Natural, honest, romantic photography - capturing a mix of movements, stillness, depth, whimsy, textures, tones + feelings. I work hard to create a comfortable environment through conversation, my use of light, the music I play, the way I make corny jokes. It’s all about the experience. I show up to your wedding day to create meaningful photographs to help you be able to look back and remember not just how beautiful your day looked, but also how amazing your day felt.
Where do you find inspiration?
In the little things - human connection, morning light, simple textures, the 70's, windblown hair, rain, tonality, movement, visual poetry. A fresh perspective can be found anywhere.
How did you get started in this industry?
I (apparently) kept taking the family camera and taking (not so great) pictures when I was around 3 years old. Fast forwarding several years, I my love and passion for photography only grew, and shot my first wedding at age 15, and the rest is history!
Coffee or Cocktails? Where are you going?
Coffee. Civil House in Kalamazoo!

“Fine Art Photojournalism” is the best label for my work. I favor natural lighting and compositions that are organic rather than overly posed. I aim to tell the story of your day and look for those in-between glances and gestures. For the most part, I try to blend into the background during an event so as to document natural expressions. In this regard, I wouldn’t say that I focus on traditional portraiture. I am first and foremost a wedding photographer, and as such, I have to work fast and adapt to my subject matter. I work for my clients, diverse and ranging in personality, but ultimately I work to produce art that I find beautiful.
What is your favorite part of events?
Usually, there is a moment when a client finally relaxes and gets to partying. That moment and everything after.

Hi! I'm Cynthia- I am a wedding photographer who is passionate about documenting couples' unique love stories. I have a bright + airy (but not washed out) style that will remain classic throughout time. Because that's my goal-- create a visual reference of your love for you and your partner to look back on for the rest of your life.
Coffee or Cocktails? Where are you going?
Both! Not at the same time though ;). My go-to coffee is a homemade vanilla latte!
Favorite Wedding trend at the moment?
I love how wedding photography is shifting from all posed portraits to a mix of posed and candid. Documenting a wedding day as it is-- without having to stage everything-- is truly the way I love to tell each couples' unique love stories.

There are absolutely no rules when planning. Do what excites you, skip what doesn't. Plan what make you happiest!
Where do you find inspiration?
My parent's and grandparent's black and white wedding albums and polaroids.
Coffee or Cocktails? Where are you going?
Hands down, a classic margarita from Luna in Grand Rapids
What is your favorite part of events?
Vows during the ceremony, and experiencing different kinds of cultures and religions at weddings.

My style of photography is based on natural interactions between you and your spouse. It is founded on real genuine smiles, group hugs, hand holding, almost kisses and moments that are just meant for you two.
While yes there will be direction when you need it, and organization, it will never be forced. If a shot isn't important to you, then it's not important to me. I will never push you to take a certain picture for my benefit
. I will only recommend certain shots based on what I think you will enjoy after your day is done. Your day is your day and having me behind the camera capturing every moment is one that will bring you peace and joy. We will have fun, we will get to know one another and it will be an experience. Why me? Because I put you and your dream day first.
What is your favorite part of events?
Ceremony, it's just so magical and sacred.
What would you say to a couple just getting started in the wedding planning process?
This day is all about you, keep your love story the focus.
The night is over, everything went off without a hitch, you hop in your car and you:
Get a McDonald's Coke and jam out to showtunes.

We believe that marriage is so much more than what culture tells our couples. Comments like “It’s the ball and chain” or “Your fun is officially over” often give brides and grooms a sad outlook on the rest of their lives, and after being married for almost ten years, we simply don’t agree with those comments. As encouragers, we want to provide a beautiful experience for our couples while simultaneously helping them realize how special this season is and what they get to look forward to in the years to come.
Favorite Wedding trend at the moment?
Cake Meadows. Such a fun way to add in even more florals on your wedding day and accent your cake by giving it its moment to shine!!
Coffee or Cocktails? and what is your go-to order?
Call us old school, but coffee all the way! (Andrea is actually more of a hot chocolate connoisseur) Iced Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks, anytime of the year!

My photos are bold and intimate. I don’t get too caught up in editing trends, but I like to keep my shooting style modern. I'm a lover of gorgeous light, genuine moments, and having a blast celebrating with my couples. My business is LGBTQ+ owned and welcoming!
What is your favorite part of An event?
The moment of pure joy, right after a couple walks down the aisle at the completion of their ceremony, when they turn to each other and take it all in. It's so incredibly sweet!
What do you love most about your work?
Sharing in the connection that my couples have. Love is a gift, and I'm lucky enough to get to celebrate it in my career.
The night is over, everything went off without a hitch, you hop in your car and you:
Immediately think about that one photo - my absolute favorite of the day - that I can't wait to edit and share with the newlyweds!

I specialize in luxury weddings with intentional details. I work best with couples who are madly-in-love, beyond excited to be married, and who approach wedding planning with lots of intentionality. While my photography style is more documentary and authentic, I still give my clients lots of guidance and direction! I capture candid natural photos by giving them prompts, movements, and actions that make them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. As far as editing goes, I edit my images to be light, effortless, and natural in color so that they will be beautiful for decades to come. My photos are not overly edited, they are simply an enhanced version of reality so that my couples can remember every detail as it was on their best day ever. Also!! I offer film photography too, which sets me apart from most photographers in our area.
Favorite Wedding trend at the moment?
Oh my goodness there's so many on my radar for 2024! First and foremost- FILM! I'm obsessed with shooting film photography. It's a highly desirable trend to have film wedding photos right now, but not many photographers in our area offer it. So I'm proud to offer that for my clients who love the vintage vibes! Also... paper parasol umbrellas instead of bridesmaid bouquets, hydrangeas in floral arrangements, fruits & silky ribbons in table decor, espresso martini towers (the new champagne tower!), and funfetti wedding cakes! Love love love!
Coffee or Cocktails? Where are you going?
Cappuccino please! Then a glass of Italian Pinot Grigio (:
